Arboretum Welcome Center / Apple House Relocation - Betty's Apple House
The current Apple House is a part of the Arboretum’s Horticultural Research Center (HRC). It has outgrown its current building, and operational improvements are necessary to continue to meet the goals of and demands on the program. The Apple House has experienced dramatic increases in visitors and sustained increases in revenue. Current events include apple, squash, etc. sales, fall flower sales, and a Holiday Market. This project relocates the Landscape Arboretum Apple House at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to a new site near the intersection of Highways 5 and 41, away from the Arboretum’s HRC grounds to preserve research operation.
