UMD Dining Center
Residence Dining Center

Duluth Campus

The Duluth Campus Residence Hall was constructed in 1974 and increased student enrollment and their dietary needs recently outgrew the ability of the facility.  Renovation of the facility included the demolition of the entire 3rd floor,  installation of a new HVAC, fire alarm system, and plumbing system. Lastly an entirely new seating area that included 3 "live" cooking stations with all new equipment has been installed to support the University's dedication to modern teaching. To keep pace with today's students and their food preferences, UMD Dining Services  employed a professional dietitian  on-site to facilitate "Superior Dining" to all students, faculty, and staff.
